Project Goal
The project aimed to learn about user expectations and behaviours related to Environment updates in the new cloud-based architecture. Through a user study, we sought to uncover valuable insights that would inform the design of the update flow for the cloud version. Our goal was to create an update process that aligns with user preferences, ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience.
Impact
The updates flow developed after the User Study effectively met 200+ customers needs, such as timeframe requirements and release notes expectations resulting in a seamless user experience.
Problem
With the new cloud based architecture it is necessary to anticipate potential challenges, user expectations, pain points and preferences before launch to design the update process accordingly.
My Responsibilities
• Assist the UX Team in user research & data analysis.
• Help create user workflow diagram to ensure the update feature flows seamlessly from one step to next.
• Annotate User Studies and gather key User insights.
• Developing Interview Study Guide and Data Reports.
The Experience
I got the chance to work on various research case studies ranging from feature enhancement, AI Integration to Updates flow. It included conducting customer interviews & integrating findings in the future releases of the product. The key skill I learned here is working with cross functional teams. Along with working hand in hand with the UX team I also got the chance to work with PMs, designers, engineers & Cincom customers.
